Uganda launches 'Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa' destination brand

 The Uganda Tourism Board has refreshed its destination brand, unveiling a new identity to showcase the adventure awaiting in the African nation. 

'Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa' is the latest brand refresh developed by the Uganda Tourism Board.

Uganda's tourism marketing and regulatory agency has drawn upon the destination's global reputation as an adventurous locale with a wealthy biodiversity.  

The nation's president, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, unveiled the new campaign at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in the nation's capital city. 

President Museveni highlighted the uniquely adventurous offerings available in Uganda, emphasising the unique terrain, climate, and biodiversity. 

Uganda Tourism Board's CEO, Lilly Ajarova, said: ?The new brand promise seeks to re-emphasise Uganda?s rare and precious range of tourism attractions to the world, thereby earning destination Uganda competitive market share. Uganda is no doubt beautiful. Beautiful beyond measure. 

?To win the marketplace; to achieve our Number One objective of 'Sustainably Promoting Uganda as a Competitive Tourism Destination for Inclusive Development' it is therefore important that all stakeholders are aligned on what makes us the Pearl of Africa and how do we unpack that to the various travel markets/segments around the world.?
