Rocky Mountaineer delays the start of its Canadian season

Following the current climate of travel restrictions and leisure travel uncertainty, Rocky Mountaineer has delayed the start of its Canadian travel season until July 5, 2021.

All guests affected by the postponement of the Canadian season will receive several benefits: future travel credit equivalent to 110% of the original fare paid, a 2020 prize freeze for 2021 and 2022 rail trips, and a price guarantee for packages to ensure clients can book a similar option at the same price.

Peter Armstrong, founder and interim CEO of Rocky Mountaineer, explained: ?We are extremely disappointed to be forced to delay the start of our season, but we remain very optimistic about restarting travel in July. Our team is eagerly working to prepare our trains for operations and we all look forward to getting back to what we do best, which is hosting guests for an incredible experience on board our trains."

Guests can transfer their bookings to the operator's new American route, Rockies to the Red Rocks. All new bookings come with greater flexibility, including free departure date and booking changes up to 30 days before travel.
