Princess Cruises extends Australian cruising hiatus

The cruise line has delayed all scheduled cruises in Australia and New Zealand through January 17, 2022.

With uncertainty clouding the return of international travel in Australia and New Zealand, Princess Cruises has cancelled voyages aboard Coral Princess through to January 27, 2022 and Royal Princess and Sapphire Princes through to March 2022.

?It became apparent we would not be able to deliver planned deployment of Royal Princess and Sapphire Princess in Australia before they were due to start their published northern hemisphere voyages,? said Deanna Austin, Princess Cruises CCO.

Guests booked on a cancelled cruise can move to an equivalent voyage departing on a later date, protecting their fare on the replacement booking, or a future cruise credit (FCC) equivalent to 110% of the cruise fare, or a full refund to the original method of payment.

Requests for rescheduling or refunds must be completed online by October 31, 2021, or guests will receive the FCC option automatically, which can be used on any cruises booked by December 31, 2022 and sailing by April 30, 2023.
