Palladium hotel offers free medical assistance insurance for guests

Palladium Hotel Group will offer its guests free health care insurance for the duration of their stay at any of the group?s properties that are re-opening in Spain from the end of June.

The insurance is available to all guests ? both those that book direct and through tour operators or travel agents. Launching in collaboration with risk management company Materh, the initiative will mean guests will be protected against any unforeseen situation related to the pandemic. Materh has advised the Palladium Hotel Group to contract a policy designed by InterMundial with the support of Europ Assistance.

Guests staying at Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa, Agroturismo Sa Talaia, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Bless Hotel Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol and Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife will be insured for any incident directly related to COVID-19 that may appear during their stay. This includes covering expenses such as medical and hospital costs, transfers or stay extension.

Sergio Zertuche, chief sales and marketing officer, Palladium Hotel Group, said: ?With this new insurance product, we hope that our customers will continue to put their trust in Palladium Hotel Group and are reassured and confident in choosing us for their holidays?.

The introduction of medical assistance insurance complements Palladium Hotel Group?s new health and safety protocol, which is being implemented in partnership with SGS ? the global leader in inspection, verification, analysis and certification, to guarantee that its hotels continue to be safe environments.

The first to open is Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa, located on Ibiza?s Playa d?en Bossa, on June 26. This will be followed by Agroturismo Sa Talaia, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and Bless Hotel Ibiza, which plan to open on July 8 and 10 respectively. These openings will be joined by Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol, in Benalm?dena, Malaga, on July 16, and Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife on July 30.
