Two ships will be sailing from Southampton and Newcastle this summer.
Marella Cruises has unveiled the details of its new UK coastal cruises, set to sail from Newcastle and Southampton from June 25, 2021.
Two ships will be operating throughout the season; the Marella Explorer will sail from Southampton from June 25, 2021, with the cruise line's adult-only ship, Marella Explorer 2, sailing from Newcastle from July 10, 2021.
Marella's 'Sail the South Coast' itinerary, aboard the Marella Explorer, gives cruisers a taste of the UK coast with a three night voyage, visiting Dover and Portland.
Cruisers can travel further north with a number of Scottish itineraries, including the 'British Sights and Seas', calling at five Scottish hotspots including Kirkwall, Leith, and Edinburgh Castle.
Any cruisers aged 18 and over must be fully vaccinated at least seven days before travel, with infants encouraged to take a lateral flow test to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

Domestic sailings are a great step for the cruise industry and has given us the opportunity to take our customers to new destinations full of culture and history whilst still being close to home. The cruises are set to go on sale from April 16, 2021, with cruises starting from ?495 per person.
