Huben Travel, a new premium travel agency for the LGBTQ+ community, launches this week offering holidaymakers a distinctive ?Two Voices, Your Choices? approach.
Set up by Surrey-based husbands Hugh and Ben Eddon-Carruthers, Huben Travel will specialise in tailor-making personalised, high-quality travel itineraries that include two sets of recommendations for clients, reflecting Hugh and Ben?s differing interests and preferred travel styles.
?Most travellers, and especially couples, have learned that the perfect holiday is usually about compromise,? said Ben. ?We?ll take the time to get to know the customer, listen closely to their requirements, do our research and come up with the perfect itinerary for them. Then Hugh and I will add our own very different ideas of things they might want to do along the way.?
?We call it ?Two Voices, Your Choices?,? explains Hugh. ?Ben?s all about nature, relaxing by the pool and going with the flow, while I love a schedule, the buzz of a city and making sure we tick off all the iconic attractions.
With successful backgrounds in finance and the arts, and having spent years travelling the world in style, Hugh and Ben?s own experiences convinced them that there was a gap in the market for a premium LGBTQ+ travel service. The couple decided to create their own dedicated agency with a clear vision: to provide the LGBTQ+ community with travel that has been crafted for them, by them or with them in mind.
An IGLTA and Gay European Tourism Association member, Huben Travel is already working with some of the UK?s best upscale tour operators including Carrier and Lusso to offer tailor-made short and long-haul trips including honeymoons, package holidays, tours and cruises. For 2021 Hugh and Ben will also host their own tours and plan to further develop their own travel products over time. To celebrate the launch of Huben Travel, Hugh and Ben have worked with a range of operators and upscale hotels to create a bespoke set of premium UK travel offers available only to their customers.
