The airline will increase flight frequency and capacity across its network for the 2025 Northern Summer season, with a new daily service to London Gatwick taking to the skies from March 2025.
The new addition will bring SIA’s total daily services to the UK capital up to five, joining the four-times daily route to London Heathrow.
Services to Rome will also increase to five times per week. Looking ahead, SIA will delink its three-times weekly Singapore-Milan-Barcelona flights from June 25th, 2025 to September 7th, 2025, and instead offer more direct services to the two cities. Five weekly flights will service travellers to Barcelona, while a daily service will operate to Milan.
Flights to Adelaide will increase to 10 per week across the Northern Winter 2024 and Northern Summer 2025 programmes, while services to Ho Chi Minh City will rise to thrice daily and flights to Siem Reap to twice per day. A three-times per weekly service will be mounted to Johannesburg from December 11th, 2024 to January 10th, 2025, and from April 2nd to October 24th, 2025.
Dai Haoyu, acting senior vice president marketing planning at Singapore Airlines, said the network adjustments “cater to the higher demand to several destinations, particularly during the traditional mid-year peak travel season, enabling our customers to confidently make their 2025 travel plans.”
