The handover ceremony at Fincantieri Shipyard marked the completion of the newly-built vessel, which will take to the seas from March 2022.
The newest addition to the Princess Cruises fleet, Discovery Princess, was delivered during an official handover ceremony at Fincantieri Shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.
Discovery Princess marks the 15th MedallionClass ship in the cruise line's fleet, and was commemorated at the ceremony by John Padgett, the cruise line's president, Captain Gennaro Arma, and Luigi Matarazzo, general manager of Fincantieri's merchant ship division.

The 3,660-guest Discovery Princess hosts 270-degree views from its largest balconies, along with a host of indulgent amenities on board.
