Classic Collection hosts first agent forum in Andalusia

After vowing to "support agents to grow their business... more than ever" when unifying its brands earlier this year, the inaugural meeting of the operator's new agent feedback forum, Classic Connect, took place in Andalusia this month

Si Morris-Green, Classic Collection's B2B director, said Classic Connect promises "an open and honest forum where agent and operator come together to exchange ideas, views and industry insights in a spirit of collaboration and co-operation," noting the operator's near-four-decade-long history of engaging with agents.

May's restructuring saw Classic Collection not only unify its brands but also vow to be "100% trade-focussed," committing to "support[ing] agents to grow their business... more than ever."

The first meeting of the Classic Connect forum hoped to reflect on the first few months of the new-look Classic Collection, and, Si said, "outline our future plans with regards to service levels, product developments, joint marketing ventures and agent incentives."

Forums are expected to be held quarterly across the UK and overseas, with around 15 to 20 agents and senior managers hosted at each edition. Members of Classic Collection's management team will be present at all sessions.

"Following our restructure we’re a smaller and more agile company with a laser-like focus on providing our travel trade partners with the support they need to build sales and retain customers," Morris-Green concluded.
