First Choice unveils Gen Z-inspired influencer programme

Managing director Bart Quinton Smith has noted that "the traditional linear marketing journey... is changing" as First Choice unveils its first lineup of influencer-curated itineraries

The inaugural class of 'First Choice Insiders' include Grace Grange, Bailey Turvey and @usntheworld, who will not only share their travel experiences with their hundreds of thousands of collective followers but also integrate the itineraries into First Choice as bookable holidays.

Each Insider has collated experiences aligning with their passions, from foodies to culture seekers, handpicking unique experiences, iconic attractions and hidden gems in their respective destinations.

Bart continued, "Young travellers... are not as interested in plodding through different channels at each step of the funnel and are much more comfortable in purchasing right there at the inspiration stage, which we’re seeing time and time again with the growing popularity of social mechanics like TikTok shop.

"We've reimagined how we approach influencer marketing with First Choice Insiders, by blending authentic travel experiences and social inspiration with a personalised booking journey and curated e-commerce."

Five Insiders comprise the inaugural programme, with more expected to showcase their itineraries with First Choice in the future.
