Accor is set to expand its presence across the Philippines, announcing its latest signing - the Sofitel Cebu City.
The 195-room luxury hotel will debut in 2025, joining a national pipeline of 17 projects across the Philippines, bringing a number of international hospitality brands into the country for the first time.
Sofitel Cebu City has pledged a mission to encourage guests to 'Live the French Way', with a number of experiences to reflect local culture and celebrate wellbeing. The property will host two restaurants, a lobby lounge, executive floor lounge and a rooftop bar. Business travellers will have access to a business centre, fitness centre, swimming pool and spa. A number of event spaces will also occupy the property, including meeting rooms and ballrooms.
CEO of Accor, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, Garth Simmons, explained: ?We are extremely pleased to be expanding our footprint in Cebu with the signing of Sofitel Cebu City. The property joins Accor's existing portfolio of seven hotels across three regions of the Philippines, and the Sofitel Cebu City will join the Sofitel group of over 120 hotels and resorts.
