The new summer route will operate from London Gatwick to Varna, offering travellers a gateway to the historic Bulgarian city.
The service will take to the skies from 18th June, 2024, and operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the summer. Fares for the service lead in from £26.99.
Zsuzsa Trubek, communications manager at Wizz Air, hopes the new route will “make it easier for travellers to explore [Varna] this summer” and will act as a successful aid in “connecting families between the UK and Bulgaria.”
Adding to the five existing flights per week from London Luton airport, the Gatwick route will increase Wizz Air’s London-Varna connection to daily.
