Trade-friendly property Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is bringing a taste of Saint Lucian rum through IGTV.
Rum is the spirit of St Lucia and on this father?s day on June 21, the rum tasting is going live at 16:30 UK time.
Roger Joseph who worked at St Lucia Distillers for 20 years will be talking through some of the unique elements of rum, distilled on this wonderful Caribbean island. For anyone unable to join at this time, the video will be available at any time @windjammerlanding on Instagram.
Roger will be using his extensive knowledge to chat through the history of rum and including tasting points on how to taste any type of rum for maximum flavour, so feel free to join in at home. He will also be sharing his tips on the best ways to try rum and suggestions of some wonderful rums to try for father's day and beyond.
Two of the rums he will be focusing on are Admiral Rodney Royal Oak and Chairman?s Reserve Gold, both available to try at Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, once travel resumes.
