High Commissioner Harriet King greeted the arriving guests, before a performance from local dance troup The Jola Cultural Group.
Karen Durham, The Gambia Experience's product manager, described the welcome as "just a small example of the unique cultural experiences that can be enjoyed through our holiday packages."
From October to April, the operator's 2024/25 programme stars family-friendly beachfront options, exclusive safari lodges and floating river accommodation.
The operator is set to resume its twice-weekly daytime London flights with Titan Travel from November 1st, adding an extra Monday flight between December 16th, 2024 and February 24th, 2025.
Manchester departures are available from November to April.
