Resilient Lady made its entrance into Sydney Harbour for the first time, ahead of its inaugural summer season, greeted by none other than Sir Richard Branson.
As the newest ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, not only did it mark the cruise line's debut in Australia, but also earned the naissant cruise line the mantle of the first Virgin Group travel brand to break into the Aussie market since Virgin Australia in 2000.
Sir Richard Branson met the ship in a classic wooden speedboat in true billionaire style, guiding the ship through Sydney Harbour towards Circular Quay, where it will dock for a two-night stay before venturing on to its new home port in Melbourne.
