Alternative Greek Tourism Event Invite

TME & LOTUS to host Greek Alternative Tourism & Gastronomy Workshop

The online workshop will bring the travel trade together with tourism suppliers for one-to-one sessions.

Greek media agency TME has teamed up with travel PR specialist LOTUS to bring together travel agents and 25 Greek tourism suppliers, including regional tourist offices, airlines and accommodation providers. The virtual workshop will be hosted between February 24 and February 26, 2021.

The workshop will comprise of an introductory session, a raffle with 30 prizes on offer, and a total of over 600 one-to-one meetings.

Harris Ntigrintakis, CEO of Tourism Media, said: “As we start to emerge from the global pandemic and from the impacts of Brexit, this has never been a more important time for the UK and Greek tourism sectors to strengthen relationships so that we can all grow our businesses together. The summer of 2020 confirmed that Greece is a firm favourite for the British holidaymaker, and yet there are so many more hidden gems across the mainland and islands for travellers to discover. Now is the best time for travel agents to brush up on their knowledge of favourite hotspots as well as finding out more about what the different regions and Greek tourism providers have to offer. Like many others in our sector, we are used to providing live sales and learning events for travel agents and tour operators across Europe, but since the pandemic, we have taken those events online to growing success and we look forward to consolidating and growing our warm relationships with our UK colleagues.”
