The Malta hotel fit for Hollywood A-Listers

Malta's Iniala Harbour House hosted stars of the upcoming blockbuster Gladiator II during filming, and is now extending the invite to guests to experience the same indulgence and storied history on offer.

After the trailer for Ridley Scott's sequel to the iconic film dropped last week, all eyes are on Malta (even if some viewers believe they are looking at ancient Rome). The island stood in for Rome during filming, which began in June 2023, hosting the likes of Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal.

Located in Valletta, the heart of the film's production, the luxury Iniala Harbour House promises guests will feel like the star of their own indulgent production, and an equally historical one. The hotel spans four historic townhouses and ancient vaults which date back to the 17th century, with just 23 rooms and suites on offer.

No better taste of the property's indulgence can be found than that on offer at the two-Michelin-star ION Harbour restaurant, which also boasts impressive views over Valletta's Great Harbour from the property's fourth floor.

Room rates start from £341 per night on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
