Two new tours expand the group holidays specialists Italian offering, doubling down on efforts that have seen the destination become Newmarket Holidays top-selling.
The first of the itineraries, 'Highlights of Italy: Venice to Rome', lives up to its name with guided tours of Venice, Padova, Bologna, Perugia, Assisi and Rome, with time to explore San Marino and optional tours of the Vatican City and Sistine Chapel among other optional attractions. With prices from £1,696 per person (including a 15% saving until March 15th), the tour includes flights from Gatwick, Heathrow or Manchester; 10 breakfasts and five dinners; and seven guided tours.
'Milan, Verona and Lake Garda' is the slower-paced second addition, soaking up the landscapes and long-studied culture of the Northern Italy cities included. Prices start from £1,067 per person, and include seven nights' bed-and-breakfast accommodation, guided tours, and return flights from a choice of regional airports. Departures are on offer between April and October 2024.
Richard Forde, the operator's head of trade sales, said Newmarket is "delighted to be supporting agents with two new exciting tours that provide new ways of seeing this incredible country."
Both lead-in prices feature a 15% saving, available on bookings made by March 15th, 2024.
