TEQ launches new campaign to attract UK travellers to Queensland

With quarantine-free travel for vaccinated citizens from the UK to Australia commencing from today, Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) has announced a new campaign to encourage travellers to explore Queensland.

The Good to Go campaign highlights various things that one can rediscover in Queensland, with new tours, experiences and accommodation providers now open to fully vaccinated international travellers.

Tourism and Events Queensland CEO, Leanne Coddington, said: ?The last two years have been incredibly challenging for everyone around the world. We look forward to welcoming back visitors from the UK to experience Queensland.?

?From overnight stays on the Great Barrier Reef, to hinterland escapes in the Scenic Rim, and a raft of new five-star hotels to indulge in, there?s something to suit every taste. And travellers can rest assured that all our tourism businesses have COVID safe practices in place to keep them safe.?

?Quarantine-free travel for international arrivals into Queensland is an important step in rebuilding our inbound travel markets from key source markets like the UK. At TEQ we look forward to working with our trade partners in the UK to inspire travellers to book a Queensland holiday.?

The Good to Go campaign starts rolling out in the UK from today.
