The new twice-weekly service took to the skies yesterday, marking the start of a key connection to the French capital in time for summer
The year-round service will operate on Mondays and Fridays to Paris Orly, joining the eight other routes the airline operates out of Southampton including Alicante, Amsterdam, Belfast, Faro, Geneva, Glasgow and Palma de Mallorca.
EasyJet Holidays is also offering package options for the new route. Passengers can now book through the easyJet app or on the website with fares beginning from £20.99 one way.
Ali Gayward easyJet’s UK country manager, said, “Our new twice weekly service from Southampton to Paris Orly will provide our customers in the south of England with a convenient connection to the French capital.”
During the peak summer period, easyJet plans to increase its weekly departures out of Southampton airport to 21, signifying a 31% increase compared to last summer.
