p>La Manga Club is giving guests the opportunity to get fit in 2013 with a range of health and fitness breaks ? and savings of more than ?300.
The five-star Spanish resort is set to host a series of specialist courses and retreats aimed at returning, and keeping, guests in peak condition.
Independent fitness expert Fitness 12 has unveiled a varied programme of breaks that will be staged at the property over the next 12 months, with retreats focusing on cycling, detox, spa, the over-60s and the ever-growing sport of triathlon.
The five-day packages, for adults of all ages, offer expert coaching and nutritional advice throughout, and launching the 2013 schedule is Fitness 12?s January Detox retreat from January 10-14 ? which has been reduced from ?850 to ?545 per person.
The 12-day programme begins four days before departure by preparing the body for a gentle course of aerobic exercise designed to sweat out unwanted toxins.
The discounted package, based on two people sharing a room in the four-star Las Lomas apartments, includes three meals per day, nutritional supplements and motivational talks, and with the price also including a 35-day aftercare programme, has been designed to ensure guests make a positive change for the long-term rather than just a long weekend.
The breaks feature three exercise sessions per day with nutritionally balanced meals prepared by its private chef, and spa fitness retreats are scheduled to take place on February 20-24, March 14-18 and April 11-15.
In addition to the Fitness 12 packages, the resort is also set to host TV fitness guru Joanna Hall?s popular Walkactive training camps again in 2013, with the first one taking place from April 25-29.
