Rwandair celebrates 10 years of connectivity to Zambia

To celebrate its decade-long connection, travellers can enjoy 25% off on select routes throughout the network

Since the inception of the direct Lusaka direct route in March 2015, the frequency of flights between Rwanda and Zambia has increased from three times per week to daily, playing a key role in developing tourism within both countries.

The daily increase also aligns with the airline’s commitment to enhance inter-African connectivity.

Thembela Dladla, regional manager of Southern Africa at Rwandair, said “Our Lusaka route has been a cornerstone for our expansion strategy and regional integration. We are proud of the role it has played in fostering economic and cultural ties between Zambia and Rwanda.”

To celebrate the milestone, Rwandair is offering a 25% discount for tickets on certain routes within in network, including to Kigali, London, Brussels, Lagos, Nairobi and Paris. The offer is valid for tickets purchased by May 15th, 2025, for travel until June 15th, 2025.
