Riviera Travel launches 'Cruising Scotland's Highlands & Islands' programme

Riviera Travel is set to sail the Cruising Scotlands Highlands & Islands itinerary this summer, with the eight-day itinerary departing from Edinburgh and Greenock four times in total.

The route includes a daily port stop and excursion, letting cruisers take in Aberdeen, Inverness, Orkney, Oban, the Outer Hebrides and Belfast. The tours on offer include trips to Loch Ness, Balmoral Castle, and the Titanic Visitor Centre.

Initially, the route include a call to County Donegal, but this has now been changed to a port of call in Belfast, meaning all ports are UK-based, extinguishing any travel limitation concerns.

All sailings will take place aboard the new 158-capacity MS Seaventure, which was refurbished in 2019. The ship is expedition-ready, meaning it can dock and explore smaller harbours than other UK-based ships.

Prices start from ?1,999 per person, based on two people sharing on a full board basis, including tours, visits and port taxes.
