Riviera Travel operated its first long-haul holiday since March 2020 this week, with guests exploring Egypt with the Wonders of the Nile tour.
The trip comprised a Nile river cruise with visits to the Pyramids at Giza; the Golden Mask of Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum; the temple dedicated to Osiris, god of the dead; and Step Pyramid, the oldest stone structure in the world.
Viktorija Bajera from Riviera's operations team joined the tour along with 30 guests and Egyptologist tour manager, Salah Sholok.
In total, Riviera Travel is expected operate almost 2,300 cruises and tours this year.
