Ranch Rider announces Montana pop-up event

The riding holiday operator will introduce its first ever pop-up ranch experience at Montana’s O.T.O Ranch from June 25 to August 12, 2023.

Leased by True Ranch Collection, the property lies in a mountain valley along Cedar Creek, just 10 miles from Yellowstone National Park. The O.T.O Ranch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places after originally opening in 1910, becoming the first guest ranch in Big Sky Country. In a bid to restore the property, True Ranch Collection is working in partnership with the Custer Gallatin National Forest.

Ranch Rider is including a donation in its holiday prices, with 100% of the proceeds from the pop up experience going towards the restoration and preservation of the ranch.

Sandra Potter, marketing director, Ranch Rider, said, “This is a fabulous opportunity, not only to enjoy an authentic dude ranch holiday, but also to be a part of preserving the history and culture of America’s West. The proximity of the O.T.O Ranch to Yellowstone us an added bonus and for guests booking a six-night stay the property, a tour of the national park in included in the price.”

Prices for six nights at the O.T.O Ranch pop up event will start at £2,995pp, which includes a £388pp donation, accommodation, all meals, horseback riding, ranch activities, special events and evening entertainments. Flights and transfers are not included.
