Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) has announced Summer in Qatar programme that runs from June 4 to August 16.
Qatar has visa-free access to citizens of more than 80 countries. This year?s ?Summer in Qatar? introduces a wide range of exciting activities and thrilling experiences to suit all budgets. There will also be entertainment programs featuring internationally acclaimed musical and comedy acts.
Some of the highlights of the programme are Comedy Festival at Al Mayassa Theatre, classes by Qatar Museums.
A host of entertainment options are also on offer.Plenty of child-friendly activities are available, with entertainment shows in malls across the city, indoor theme parks and edutainment parks. Culture lovers can rejoice, as Souq Waqif and KataraCulturalVillage will offer authentic experiences, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Qatar?s rich heritage and its burgeoning culture scene.
Music enthusiasts can mark their calendars as celebrated names are set to rock this summer in Qatar, including international artists, Arab singing sensations and Bollywood superstars.
Movie buffs will get a chance to attend the glittering South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) with well-known celebrities from the industry.
Starting May 15, Qatar Airways will offer a discount of 25% on all flights to Doha from more than 160 destinations worldwide, for travel between May 30 ? August 16. Passengers can also take advantage of +Qatar, a unique stopover package designed to give travellers transiting through Qatar the opportunity to discover Doha with free luxury hotel stays and complimentary transit visas.
