Princess Cruises reshuffles vessel deployment for summer 2021

Princess Cruises has announced changes in the deployment of vessels for the summer season of 2021 for cruises to Alaska, European destinations, including Scandinavia and Norway, the Mediterranean, Mexico and California.

According to the new schedule, Majestic Princess will be replacing Regal Princess in Alaska, Regal Princess will be cruising to European destinations instead of Grand Princess, which will be cruising along the Mexican and Californian coastlines.

Majestic Princess will arrive to the West Coast land set sail for her inaugural Alaska season in May 2021, picking up all the departures for the seven-day Inside Passage Seattle cruise which were booked with Regal Princess for the duration of May to September; with the exception of one departure on May 4, 2021 for a five-day Alaska Sampler, which has been cancelled.

Regal Princess will replace Grand Princess and set sail from Southampton, England. It will take more than 17 round-trip departures from Southampton to the Mediterranean, Norway, Scandinavia, Iceland and other popular destinations in Europe. As a result, the Regal Princess? South Pacific Crossing, and Grand Princess? two seven-day European cruises will be cancelled.

Grand Princess will be deployed to the West Coast for a new summer season next year, with the Mexico and California Coast cruise, which will be departing from Los Angeles. More details regarding this cruise will be announced later this year.

Guests who had booked on Regal Princess Alaska and Grand Princess Europe voyages will have their booking automatically moved from Regal Princess to Majestic Princess in Alaska, and from Grand Princess to Regal Princess in Europe, and will receive a new booking confirmation.
