Brits will be allowed to enter Portugal from May 17, 2021, as the country joins the UKs green list for travel.
Amidst travel uncertainties, the Portuguese minister of state for foreign affairs has confirmed that British tourists will be allowed to enter Portugal from May 17, 2021.
A decision on leisure travel to Portugal was not expected until June, but since the UK government confirmed that Portugal will join the nation's green list for travel from May 17, travel restrictions have been revoked.
All arriving guests to Portugal must have an RT-PCR test done at least 72 hours before departure.
Portugal's National Tourist Office has ensured that testing capacity in Portugal can meet international tourist demand.
