PortAventura reopens next month with stringent health and safety measures

PortAventura World is reopening on July 8 with special measures for protecting the health and safety of guests and staff in place

At present, temperature screening, maintaining a minimum safety distance in public, proper hand hygiene and mandatory use of masks tops the list.

Security officials will perform temperature control on visitors upon arrival at the resort, using a thermal imager and a laser thermometer. Visitors with a temperature above 37.5?C will not be allowed inside the resort. Companions of the visitors will also be barred from entry.

Visitors should maintain a safety distance of at least one-and-a-half metres with other groups of visitors.

Masks which cover the nose and the mouth will need to be worn throughout the resort. This applies to all visitors aged six years old and older.

All guests will be required to clean hands frequently, using hydro-alcoholic gel which will be provided at special points inside the park, prior to accessing certain areas, attractions or shops. The resort will reserve the right to debar anyone who does not comply with the special measures.

The measures may be amended in the future, according to changes in government regulations and instructions from the Spanish health authorities.
