Blue Bay Travels homeworking division is preparing for a rise in enquiries from prospective homeworkers as travel businesses largely return to office-based work.
Ahead of a rise in enquiries for agents looking for flexible working patterns, Blue Bay Travel's Personal Travel Consultants has scheduled three rounds of recruitment for 2023.
Kerry Jones will take on the mantle of dedicated team mentor, helping new recruits onboard as smoothly as possible after the recruitment rounds on June 19th, August 21st and October 16th.
The homeworking division is anticipating a rise in applications as many travel businesses return to an in-office working schedule, despite the pandemic-induced homeworking model providing agents with much-welcomed flexibility for over three years.
The new team mentor overseeing the recruitment round, Kerry Jones, explained: "I’m delighted to be supporting The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel through their next growth spurt. I’ll be responsible for supporting recruitment, training, and development of our homeworkers.
Abbey Heaton, The Personal Travel Consultants' sales manager, elaborated on the importance of the homeworking division's recruitment round: "The homeworking model has always been popular, but it was mirrored by most travel businesses during the pandemic and agents got used to that way of working and saw the benefits. As many businesses backtrack on previous flexible working arrangements, and push to get staff back into the offices and shops, we expect to see an uptick in applications.
