ONYX Hospitality Group doubles down on development

The Bangkok-based hospitality giant is showcasing its existing 44-property portfolio and future developments at WTM 2023.

Committing its dedication to a 'Tailored approach to hospitality', ONYX is striving to operate over 50 properties by 2025, rising to 70 by 2028.

Recent and coming additions include the luxury Amari Raaya Maldives, which welcomed its first guests in Q3 2023, and the soon-to-open Amari Colombi Sri Lanka.

10 more properties are in the pipeline, with nine debuting next year.

Beginning the year with the aim of recuperating 2019's UK arrival levels, ONYX has already exceeded that, with a 13% increase so far this year: perhaps more impressively, that marks a 72.4% increase on 2022.

CEO Yuthachai Charanachitta said: "As part of our broader vision, the group aims to solidify its position as 'The Best Medium-sized Hospitality Management Company in Southeast Asia,' reflecting our commitment to excellence and continuously elevating the standards of hospitality in the region.

"We are dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences, fostering sustainable practices while growing our presence in Southeast Asia's dynamic and competitive hospitality industry."
