Olympic Holidays has announced that, with immediate effect, it has replaced Strategic Airlines for its flights to Greece and Cyprus for the remainder of the summer 2012 season. Olympic?s commercial director Photis Lambrianides, said: ?After discussions over the weekend with Strategic Airlines and in the light of the information they provided to us, we took this commercial decision to safeguard the interests of our customers and agents.

?Alternative carriers for all destinations have now been sourced and these include: Aegean Airlines; Travel Services ? a Czech airline with a growing reputation; the Italian airline, Livingston Air. Flight timings are virtually identical and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure the trade that it?s business as usual and that our actions will have minimal affect on their clients.?

The company said Strategic Airlines represented a relatively small part of its flight capacity.
