Oceania Cruises announces return to the seas in August 2021

The cruise lines voyages will be phased in with new comprehensive health protocols. 

Oceania Cruises, culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, has announced it plans to resume cruising operations in August.

The 1,250-guest Marina will be the first cruise returning to the seas, beginning with sailings to Scandinavia and Western Europe from August 29, 2021 in Copenhagen. 

Bob Binder, CEO of Oceania Cruises, explained: ?The entire Oceania Cruises team is excited to now shift our focus to safely restarting operations and ultimately welcoming back our guests to begin exploring the world once again."

The phased restart dates of the entire fleet will be published at a later date. 

All ships will launch with the SailSAFETM Health & Safety programme, with Binder adding: ?At Oceania Cruises, we value health, well-being and safety above all else. Our guests, our crew, and, of course, the many amazing, dedicated people who work with us in the destinations we travel to are the very lifeblood of our business and we?ll do everything in our power to safeguard their health and safety."
