The suppliers peaks campaign has seen more than 100 agents participating and earning prize draw entries and shopping vouchers upon booking.
'Race Around the World' runs throughout January, February and March, spotlighting Not in the Guidebooks' destination knowledge and portfolio.
Debbie Sowden, NITGB's sales director, revealed that "enquiries have doubled versus this time last year and trading has been really buoyant."
On the sales focuses this peak period, Debbie elaborated: "Lapland is proving ever popular with agents booking clients for 2024 and 2025 and destinations such as Costa Rica and Maldives selling well for summer 2024."
What's in it for the trade?
Lucy Althorpe, a Travel Counsellor, explained: "We are seeing more customers asking us for alternative holidays to the usual summer break, whether it’s more of an activity-based holiday or one that includes more of a cultural experience.
"It’s great to work with Not in the Guidebooks on these types of requests as they have a wide range of holidays in these areas and make it really easy for agents to be able to give clients these alternatives."
Debbie continued: "Agents are telling us that our proposition, which is all about offering authentic, immersive and sustainable travel experiences, is having more traction with consumers than ever before.
"What’s been interesting to see over the last four years since we launched, is the steady rise in consumer interest in wanting to experience a different type of holiday to the usual beach-based getaway, and agents are now keen to broaden their proposition to incorporate experience-led itineraries," Debbie concluded.
