Nobu Hospitality strengthens trade partnerships with launch of Master Chain Code

Nobu Hospitality has announced the launch of a unique master chain code, "NB", across four major global distribution systems - strengthening its relationship with the trade on a global scale.

The chain code gives Nobu Hotels a unique identity within the GDS - making the group more accessible to agents.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square and Nobu Hotel Palo Alto, are the first properties agents can access on the unique chain code, with the remainder of the portfolio to follow in the coming months.

Nobu Hotel Palo Alto will be transitioning onto the Nobu Hotels Master Chain Code on October 15, 2020, ending its three-year affiliation with leading hotels of the world. The hotel has recently relaunched following a multi-million-dollar renovation of all accommodations and public spaces and has introduced elevated Ryokan Palo Alto rooms on the 7th and 8th floors, rivalling the personalised guest experience of its sister property, Nobu Ryokan Malibu.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, owned and developed by L+R Hotels, will officially open on November 9, 2020, and has also joined the NB chain code. Portman Square marks the third collaboration between L+R Hotels and Nobu Hospitality, following the success of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and Nobu Restaurant Monte Carlo. The hotel will feature a Nobu Restaurant, bar, and outdoor terrace, a 600-person ballroom, meeting space and wellness facilities.

Rachael Palumbo, the group?s VP of sales and marketing, said: ?The shift to a unique chain code has been designed to build brand visibility among the travel community, meet the needs of advisors worldwide and further position Nobu Hotels as a distinct luxury lifestyle offering. With COVID-19 continuing to disrupt travel around the world, it?s never been more important to strengthen our ties with the trade and we?re excited about this progression across our portfolio over the coming months.?

Nobu Hospitality has expanded to include 19 hotels worldwide, spanning six continents.
