New safari, Southeast Asia and Aussie accommodation from Audley

The tailor-made operator has expanded this year's programme with additional accommodation options in Australia's Victoria territory, luxury properties in Southeast Asia, and a 'beyond-Africa' safari lodge in Borneo.

Down under

In Victoria, the Metung Hot Springs option can now be added to tailor-made itineraries: luxury safari-style tents include an ensuite bathroom, king-size four-poster bed and private bathing barrel, encapsulating the 'glam' in 'glamping'. A 12-day Melbourne to Sydney self-drive, with two nights at the Metung Hot Springs, starts from £4,975 per person.

Research revealing that 16% of premium guests have taken a wildlife or safari trip in the last five years (and 20% plan to within the next two) has inspired Audley Travel to add alternative safari options: the Tabin Rainforest Lodge in Borneo offers 12 ensuite rooms in the Virgin Jungle Reserve: an 11-day tailor-made trip to Sabah, Borneo starts from £4,400 per person – including two nights at the Tabin Rainforest Lodge.

All-new in Asia

Two new luxury options in Southeast Asia have joined the portfolio: Banyan Tree's new Garrya Bianti in Yogyakarta can be included in a 15-day 'Discovering Java & Bali' trip from £5,210 per person. The Philippines' new Isla Cabana Resort on Siargao Island is featured on a 16-day multi-island trip, with prices from £6.495 per person.
