Since its launch in 2020, National Travel Agent Day has celebrated the pivotal role travel agents play in fuelling success for the UK travel industry.
After traditionally taking place on the last Friday of the UK summer school term, this year will instead see the industry celebrate on September 6th, 2024 so more agents and operators can take part.
Intrepid Travel will celebrate with offers and competitions on the Intrepid Loves Agents Facebook page, surprise shop visits and downloadable materials spotlighting the value of booking with a travel agent.
Joanna Reeve, head of partnerships, said, "Four years on from its launch, we believe National Travel Agent Day still has an important role to play as a reminder of the crucial role agents play in our industry.
"Let’s use this moment to make sure our agent partners get the recognition they deserve."
Previously, the Advantage Travel Partnership and Newmarket Holidays have taken part in celebrations.
