More than 900 agents to get first-hand experience on Celebrity Edge

Celebrity Cruises? newest ship Celebrity Edge is arriving in Southampton and UK agents will be getting an opportunity to see what all the hype is about, along with new selling tools too.

More than 900 trade partners will be heading onboard to enjoy first-hand the many innovative features of this vessel on the two-day taster sailing from May 13-15.

The cruise line will be rolling out the 'reimagined' guest experience of the Celebrity Edge across the entire fleet in the months and years to come.

Some of the highlights of the new cruise ship include ?suites boasting open-air plunge pools and 270-degree views, an outdoor rooftop garden, a ?Magic Carpet? suspended from the side of the ship and the three-deck dining and entertaining space Eden.

The cruise operator launched a new Edge-Class brochure designed to showcase the luxury offering of Edge and Apex and to assist agents in differentiating between Edge, Solstice and Millennium class. The brochure features comprehensive details of the ship?s accommodation, dining, and onboard highlights.

A new immersive microsite dedicated to Celebrity Edge (www.celebritycruises.co.uk/explore-edge) features images and videos of the ship and will be followed by a new Messenger Chatbot learning tool and augmented reality app, which will launch in time for the ship?s arrival in the UK.

The Messenger-based chatbot guides agents around separate areas of the ship, such as Eden and suite-class area The Retreat, linking with the new app to give an immersive picture of life onboard. Agents will have the opportunity to answer questions as they progress with the chance to win prizes including top level suite onboard upgrades, Apple watches, and onboard spending money to treat themselves in the many onboard stores.
