Monarch Airlines announces winter

Monarch has announced its winter flying programme for 2013/14, adding frequencies to existing routes as well as launching some more winter services from its new base, Leeds Bradford Airport, and from London Luton Airport. All flights are on sale now.

p>Monarch has announced its winter flying programme for 2013/14, adding frequencies to existing routes as well as launching some more winter services from its new base, Leeds Bradford Airport, and from London Luton Airport. All flights are on sale now.



An aircraft will be based at Leeds Bradford Airport for winter 2013/14 and routes to Arrecife, Faro, Larnaca and Tenerife, which start for the 2013 summer season will continue throughout the winter. These are in addition to the flights to the ski destinations of Grenoble and Munich which had their recent inaugural flights.

A new route from Luton to Sharm el Sheikh will operate three times a week starting on November 7, 2013. Monarch currently serves Sharm el Sheikh from Birmingham, Gatwick and Manchester Airports.

The winter flying programme will also see the airline operate to existing destinations throughout the Canary Islands, Cyprus, Egypt, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey as well as the popular ski destinations of Friedrichshafen, Grenoble, Innsbruck and Munich which were launched for winter 2012/13.
