Jet2.com and Jet2holidays ready for surge in Jersey demand

The Jersey government updated its travel guidance, meaning Brits will be welcomed back quarantine-free this summer.

Following clarity and updates to Jersey's government travel advice, meaning Brits will be allowed to visit quarantine- and test-free this summer, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is anticipating a surge in demand from its British clients.

Ahead of this demand surge, the airline and package operator has expanded its flight and holiday programme, with up to 11 weekly flights from the UK to Jersey throughout the summer at Jet2's choice of six UK bases.

Birmingham, East Midlands and Newcastle airports will offer weekly Saturday services, with Leeds Bradford and Manchester offering three weekly services on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and London Stansted servicing two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Jet2holidays includes a selection of three- to five-star accommodation across Jersey, with locations such as Grouville, St Helier, St Brelade's Bay, St Peter and St Aubin available with its ATOL-protected packages.

Both the airline, Jet2.com, and the package operator, Jet2holidays, are resuming flights and holidays on June 24, 2021.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: ?As well as making this advice accessible and not a mass of confusion, the Government of Jersey has demonstrated a strong commitment to reopening travel properly, with an approach that is based on data around vaccination and infection rates. We know our customers will welcome this advice and we look forward to other Governments following this approach of clear, easy-to-understand travel advice which is based on data. With flights and holidays on sale to Jersey from six of our UK bases this summer, we know there will be very strong demand on the back of this update. We very much look forward to taking customers on their well-deserved holidays to Jersey this summer and cannot wait to get going.?
