With Jerseys border open, and the demand for domestic staycations surging, Visit Jersey is offering its top tips to sell Channel Islands escapes.

The tourist board has published a helpful infographic with the current guidelines and instructions for arriving guests from the UK.

Common Travel Area

As part of the Common Travel Area, visitors to Jersey don't need to complete the UK Government's travel declaration on arrival or departure. The island is a short flight or ferry trip away from the mainland of the UK, making it an ideal spot for summer staycations.

A year-round destination

While it's always a popular summer spot, with a busy events schedule from May to September, there's a range of events, including Skipton Big Ideas, an exhibition at the St. Helier Town Church, in October, with a host of autumn, winter, and seasonal events in between.

Accommodation options

The island hosts a vast range of accommodation, from boutique bed-and-breakfasts to coastal campaigns. Wildlife lovers can opt for Jersey Zoo's Durrell Wildlife Camp, with five-star luxury pods amongst some of the world's rarest species. The Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Mayfair Hotel and the Grand Jersey Hotel offer seaside surroundings and sea view restaurants in the island's capital of St. Helier.

Two-wheel exploration

A network of cycle routes span the islands, along coastline and country lanes, with EVieBike offering 140 dockless electric bikes around the island for ?19 per day.

Four-wheel exploration, too!

A multi-journey one day bus pass starts at ?8, with three- or five-day options also available, with a number of key routes offering clients an ideal and accessible route across Jersey's highlights.

Beaches for everyone to enjoy

Visitors to Jersey are never more than 10 minutes from the sea, so there's a wealth of sunbathing spots and golden bays to soak in. For sandcastle-perfect sand and shallow turquoise waters (ideal for families), St. Brelade's Bay awaits, or St Ouen's Bay with its adventurous excursion options including surfing and kiteboarding.

Bursting with flavour

A small island famous for its cuisine, visitors can get a taste of 'Jersey's Big Four', comprising of the Jersey potato, lobster, Jersey cows' cream, and oysters. The island is a foodie's delight, with Visit Jersey recommending a luxury choice at Bohemia, within The Club Hotel & Spa.
