Israels government tourist office is organising a virtual talk, titled BEYOND PRIDE: Israel for the experiential LGBT+ traveller on July 28, at 5pm Israel/ 3pm UK BST/ 10am EST.
Uwern Jong, editor-in-chief of OutThere?s magazine, in partnership with the IGTO, will bring out a special edition of the #Experientialist LIVE, which will discuss Israel as a year-round destination for LGBT+ travellers and the future prospects of tourism providers in Israel and how they are preparing for a post-pandemic recovery.
The session will be divided into two parts. The first a panel discussion, will have Leon Avigad from Brown Hotels, Russell Lord from Kenes Tours and Shany Katzev, an independent tour guide as speakers.
The second part will be a live, landmark tourism roundtable, a brainstorming session for ways in which the travel industry can work together to bring in greater value to LGBT+ tourism in Israel. It will have representatives from Everyqueer (media) / Once upon and Journey (media) / OutofOffice.com (travel trade) / Outstanding Travel (tour operator) / R Family Vacations/Tzell (travel trade) / Six Senses Shaharut (hotelier) / Virgin Atlantic (airline).
