Intrepid opens new hub in the Middle East

Intrepid will increase its presence in the Middle East this summer, with hopes of expanding the range into 2025 and beyond.

Based in Amman, the new hub will host the nine experiential small group tours in Jordan. Currently, Intrepid brings 6,000 travellers from Europe, North America and Australia to the destination each year, and is aiming to double that number by 2030.

Zina Bencheikh, managing director EMEA, stated the opening of the hub is a “significant milestone” for the company and sees it as a “mark of confidence in the country.”

“Having our own DMC will allow us to take the destination to the next level, diversify our product and introduce new purpose initiatives.”
