The hotel has undergone a restoration, blending the propertys prestigious history with modern, customer-focused elements.
H?tel du Palais, Biarritz, part of Hyatt's Unbound Collection, is set to reopen following a comprehensive restoration.
The hotel is now open for reservations through November 1, 2021, and is expected to reopen after the final phase of its extensive renovation in summer 2022.
The majority of the hotel's 86 guestrooms and 56 suites have been restored to highlight the palace's French royal history, which dates back to 1854, whilst blending in modern features and upgrades to customers' experiences at the luxury hotel.
Alessandro Cresta, the hotel's general manager, explained: ?During the renovation process it?s been of the utmost importance for us to preserve the rich heritage and DNA of the palace that makes it the perfect destination when visiting Biarritz and the Basque Country. We look forward to inviting guests and inspiring collectible moments through bespoke experiences.?
The hotel's rooms and suites have been decorated with an imperial French style, remaining true to the original architecture and palace history. The hotel's on-site restaurant, La Rotonde, will launch with a new chef, Aur?lien Largeau, and a new menu to match.
