Hurtigruten stays true to its word as Northern Lights promise extended

The Norwegian coastal voyage line has extended its guarantee that guests will experience the natural wonder from mid-September (rather than October) for its upcoming season.

Offering guests a second chance to experience the Northern Lights should they not during their original voyage (of 11 days or more), the extension of the Northern Lights promise will guarantee thousands more guests get the chance to witness the bucket-list phenomenon.

Hedda Felin, the cruise line's CEO, said they were "thrilled to extend our Northern Lights Promise sailing period, allowing more guests to immerse themselves in the magic of the Aurora Borealis... this commitment reflects our unwavering dedication to providing exceptional experiences and ensuring that every journey with Hurtigruten is truly extraordinary."
