Hong Kong Tourism Board?s forum to discuss travel in post-COVID South East Asia

The Hong Kong Tourism Board will be presenting an industry forum, on June 24, 3pm to 5pm (HKT/GMT +8), in the presence of world leaders such as Alexandre de Juniac, director general & CEO of International Air Transport Association (IATA), Gloria Guevara, president and CEO, World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and Hermione Joye, sector lead, Travel & Vertical Search APAC, Google

The discussion titled ?Beyond COVID-19: Global Tourism?s New Normal?, will focus on new tourism trends, centred around Hong Kong, Mainland and other parts of Asia, in relation to the rest of the world, in a post-COVID era.

Dr Pang Yiu-kai, chairman of Hong Kong Tourism Board will deliver the opening remarks. Jane Sun, CEO of Trip.com Group, Kai Hattendorf, MD and CEO of The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), Peter C. Borer, COO of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels and Steve Saxon, partner of the McKinsey & Company, are among the speakers.

The event is open to professionals from across the travel and tourism sector, including academics and media persons. The forum will be conducted in English, and simultaneously in Putonghua and Cantonese.

Registration will open next week.
