SEO Travel has launched a new initiative to help small travel businesses better understand the digital landscape and enable them to perform better online.
This includes digital marketing workshops where attendees can get direct help with their own website, a free video course covering aspects of successful travel-specific digital marketing and regular help and advice via the company's travel blog.
The company's MD, Tom Mcloughlin, said: ?I?ve always been frustrated by the misinformation that flies around in the digital industry with a lot of individuals and companies often misleading people for their own gain. Without having extensive knowledge of the digital landscape it is almost impossible for people to make an informed decision on what is best for their company online.
?Unfortunately small businesses don?t have the time or budgets to attain sufficient, trustworthy knowledge and this means salespeople can take advantage of them by making false promises that they don?t deliver on. Our goal with ?Go the Extra Mile? is to give small travel businesses that knowledge so they can carry out some of the initial work themselves and start to build their online presence, as well as giving them much more information to work with when considering paying for someone?s services so they can make a more informed decision.?
A free video course is available at http://seotravel.co.uk/video-course, with the first workshop planned for February 2016 in London.
