The chain's fifth concept store, adorned with supportive branding from TUI; Travelsphere & Just You; Azamara; Wendy Wu Tours; and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, will open in Chichester later this month, with a grand opening scheduled for October 9th, 2024
Paul Hardwick, Fred. Olsen Travel's director of retail, said, "We are delighted to be further expanding our retail footprint and adding to our recently established cluster of shops in Sussex."
Roger Mallock, an industry mainstay, will head up the branch, exactly a quarter of a century after opening a Bath Travel shop in Chichester. His CV boasts stints with Lunn Poly, Planet Cruise, Hays Travel and Woods Travel and roles as tour director for Saga and Shearings.
The new branch joins 21 existing shops across East Anglia, Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex, and brings the total number of new shops over the last four years to seven, including the acquisition of Ipswich's Idelo Travel almost a year ago.
