Havila Pollux set sail yesterday, marking the beginning of its maiden voyage to Kirkenes.
After arriving in Bergen from Turkey's Tersan shipyard last week, the fourth and final ship in the Havila Voyages fleet left Bergen with Captain Martin Iverson at the helm.
In celebration of the ship's launch, Martin said: "To be allowed to take a ship on its maiden voyage is an honorable mission. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to sailing this fantastic ship along the coast."
Bent Martini, CEO of Havila Voyages, added: "This means everything to us. Now we will finally have the opportunity to deliver as we have committed to in the contract with Norwegian authorities and showcase our fantastic product.
"We will contribute to critical infrastructure along the coast and provide our guests on board with experiences of a lifetime."
Sister ship Havila Polaris set sail from Bergen on its maiden voyage last week, with all four ships largely following the same route from Bergen, calling at 34 ports en route to Kirkenes.
One-way Northern and Southern, round-trip, or two- or three-day voyages are on offer across the fleet, guaranteeing a variety of coastal Norway experiences.
