The brand will take over the former Hotel Formentor in Mallorca, rebranding it as the Four Seasons Mallorca.
Set to open as a Four Seasons experience in 2023, the Four Seasons Mallorca will offer 110 rooms and suites.
?Following our entry into Spain in 2020, we are very excited to continue this momentum and expand our presence in this important market with a resort in Mallorca, offering guests a unique Four Seasons experience in a top European destination,? explained John Davison, CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Mallorca is the largest Balearic Island, and can be accessed via ferry or short flight from Barcelona, with direct flights available across Europe.
The property is situated an hour away from Palma de Mallorca Airport on the Formentor Peninsula, with all 110 rooms and suites offering balconies with sea and landscape views, bringing guests in touch with their surroundings.
At the vineyard, a five-minute drive from the resort, guests can enjoy farm-to-table activities and other exclusive programming. The resort itself will host an indoor restaurant, beachfront restaurant and caf?, and a poolside bar and grill. Onsite activities will include tennis and spa facilities.
